Homicide suspect arrested after deadly stabbing in Bremerton

Investigators said two 36-year-old men were in an argument before the stabbing.

BREMERTON, Wash. — A homicide suspect was arrested Sunday morning after a deadly stabbing in Bremerton, according to police.

The Bremerton Police Department was called just before 9:15 a.m. Sunday to investigate a stabbing in the 800 block of 6th Street. Officers found a man with severe stab wounds. The man died at the scene as emergency crews tried to save him, police said.

Investigators said two 36-year-old men were in an argument earlier Sunday morning. The men separated but met up later where the deadly stabbing happened.

Police said the suspect was taken to Saint Michael's Medical Center for treatment. The suspect will be booked for second-degree murder in the Kitsap County Jail.

Investigators believe the two men knew each other. They were both from Bremerton.
