LYNNWOOD, Wash. — The Washington State Patrol (WSP) is asking for help as they continue their search for a suspect involved in a deadly hit-and-run collision. Officials said the 30-year-old injured in the crash passed away Saturday.
"We really rely on the public and you guys are the eyes and ears where we can't always be," said Kelsey Harding, a spokesperson for the WSP.
Troopers are trying to find a suspect involved in a deadly hit-and-run crash on March 19 near a busy Lynnwood intersection.
“Any businesses that face State Route 99 or 148th, or any of the arterials if you think that someone might've went by or you might have something, just check your cameras,” Harding said. “We definitely need the public's help so we can solve these."

The WSP said security footage from a nearby business did capture a vehicle of interest, that struck and seriously injured a 30-year-old woman crossing the street that night.
"We know it's a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla body style," Harding said.
Harding said the victim in the case passed away on Saturday, surrounded by family. She’s heartbroken by the family's loss and hopes this incident will teach people to do the right thing.
"Not even in this case, but just in general, if you hit somebody or if you're involved in a collision, it's your responsibility to stay on scene,” Harding said. “Think about if it was you and it was your loved one. What would you want done.”
