KENT, Wash. — A 17-year-old was shot and killed when occupants in two vehicles exchanged gunfire on East Valley Highway on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
Preliminary information from Kent detectives indicates the teen was shot just south of South 180th Street.
Kent police officers were dispatched to Valley Medical Center in Renton around 9:30 p.m. after hospital staff reported a patient was dropped off by two males before leaving the area.
The teen had a bullet wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Witnesses and evidence point to the shooting happening in East Valley.
Detectives are investigating.
