Gunshot wound victim drives himself to a Tacoma police station to get help

The man told police that he had been shot about half an hour earlier at an unknown location.

TACOMA, Wash. — A man suffering from a gunshot wound drove himself to a Tacoma police station to get help. 

At around 3 a.m., Tacoma police officers received a report that a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen was outside the South 72nd Street precinct. 

Officers were able to locate the man, who told them that he had been shot half an hour earlier at an unknown location. 

Police do not have any information on a suspect. The man was taken to a local hospital by the Tacoma Fire Department and is in serious condition.
