Billy Joel is coming to town. Here's when you can get tickets for his Seattle concert

The May 24 concert is the first time Billy Joel is returning to Seattle in eight years.

SEATTLE — Eight years since his last show in Seattle, Billy Joel is returning to perform at T-Mobile Park on Friday, May 24.

Your chance at tickets to this one-night-only event is coming up soon. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 12 at LiveNation.com.  

The May show features music from throughout Joel’s career, sure to include hits such as “Uptown Girl,” "Piano Man,” “The Longest Time,” and “Vienna.”

Joel, who turns 75 in May, has a music career that spans over five decades.

As a singer, songwriter and composer, Joel is the sixth-best-selling recording artist and the fourth-best-selling solo artist, with over 160 million records sold worldwide.

Joel has won six Grammys (with 23 nominations) and was awarded a Grammy Legend Award in 1990. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999 and into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992.

Other upcoming shows at T-Mobile Park this year include Chris Stapleton (July 27), Kane Brown (Aug. 16), the Foo Fighters (Aug. 18), Def Leppard and Journey (Sept. 4), and Green Day (Sept. 23).
