Tacoma police investigating homicide after possible stabbing

No arrests have been made, Tacoma police say.

TACOMA, Wash. — A homicide investigation is underway in Tacoma after a man died at a local hospital after being found unconscious.

Tacoma Police Department (TPD) officers responded to the 2800 block of East Bay Street just after 11 p.m. Wednesday night to a report of a possible stabbing. Upon arrival, a 64-year-old man was found unconscious and was transported to the hospital by Tacoma fire responders.

The man died at the hospital, according to police. No arrests have been made so far, but the death is being investigated actively as a homicide.
