Vehicle involved in deadly hit-and-run in Redmond was reported stolen

The victim of the hit-and-run died at the scene on Dec. 6.

REDMOND, Wash. — A man in his 40s is dead following a hit-and-run in Redmond Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to the scene in the 2400 block of 176th Court NE around 2:30 p.m. where the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

NE 24th Street was closed between 180th Place NE and 175th Avenue NE while police investigated. 

Redmond police are now searching for a person who was driving a grey Nissan Pathfinder, which the driver dumped after the hit-and-run and fled on foot.

According to Redmond police, the vehicle was reported stolen.
