Man shot during road rage incident in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

SEATTLE — One man was injured in an apparent road rage shooting in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood Tuesday evening.

According to the Seattle Police Department, the road rage incident started on Interstate 5 and ended at the 9700 block of Evanston Avenue South at around 7 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a 37-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the arm. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition. The victim’s vehicle had multiple gunshots to the passenger’s side door.

The suspect is not in custody. The suspect's vehicle is described as a white sedan.

Seattle police said Gun Violence Reduction Unit detectives are leading the investigation.
