Pierce County 2023 general election results

Voters across Pierce County, including in Tacoma, Puyallup, Fife, Gig Harbor and more, will consider a number of major local races and measures.

SEATTLE — Track Nov. 7, 2023 general election results for the biggest races across Pierce County, including Tacoma City Council, Pierce County Council, Puyallup Prop 1 – a public safety facilities bond – the Tacoma Citizens Initiative and a number of other local races. 

An initial round of election returns was released shortly after 8 p.m. on election day. These returns are from ballots that were turned in early and tabulated. However, counties will release additional results in the days after the election as more ballots are counted. Additional results are typically released daily.

The County Canvassing Boards will certify and transmit general election results Nov. 28. The last day for the secretary of state to certify the general election results is Dec. 7.

Pierce County-wide election results

In Pierce County Council's District 2, councilmember Paul Herrera is running for re-election against challenger Jamie Smith.

City council, mayoral and measures election results

A number of cities have city council and mayoral races. Voters will also decide Puyallup Prop 1, which regards bonds for public safety facilities, and Tacoma Citizen's Initiative No. 1, which enacts rental requirements for landlords.
