Taylor Swift adds new dates to Canadian leg of The Eras Tour

Swift announced three new dates in Vancouver, B.C.

VANCOUVER, BC — The excitement for Taylor Swift fans is continuing to pour in. In a social media post on Thursday, Taylor Nation announced that The Eras Tour is, in fact, not over now.

Swift announced three additional dates to the 2024 Canadian leg of her record-shattering tour. Canadian fans, or international fans with a passport, now have nine chances to see Swift.

Thursday's show announcements are for three days in December 2024 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Taylor will perform at BC Place Dec. 6-8. Gracie Abrams will open for all of Swift's Canadian shows.

Swift previously announced a two-weekend residence in Toronto, Ontario from Nov. 14-16, 2024 and Nov. 21-23, 2024.

Verified Fan registration for the new dates is open now and closes on Nov. 4. Fans who register will receive an email from Ticketmaster on Nov. 8. If they are granted access to presale, fans will get a unique code at this time. Presale tickets go on sale Nov. 9.

Changes to registration can be made before registration closes. Registration codes can not be sold or transferred.

The announcement comes less than a week after Swift released "1989 (Taylor's Version)" the re-recording of her fifth studio album from 2014. The album featured five new "from the vault tracks" including "Is It Over Now?" and "Now That We Don't Talk."

Swift began re-recording her first six studio albums in 2021, with the release of "Fearless (Taylor's Version)." So far, Swift has re-recorded four albums. All that remains is her 2006 debut album "Taylor Swift" and her 2019 album "Reputation."
