'Batman v Superman' trailer leaks online

Batman and Superman may need to be called in to solve this one.

The trailer for the highly anticipated superhero movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, was meant to premiere in select IMAX theaters Monday April 20, but a bootleg copy of the tease hit file sharing sites online late Thursday night, according to multiple media reports.

The leaked trailer, which has appeared and been pulled from YouTube and other streaming video sites, appears to have been taped off a movie screen with subtitles in Portuguese.

This is the second high-profile trailer to leak in the past few months. The trailer for Marvel's upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron leaked back in October, a week ahead of it's planned release during the TV show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The studio opted to release the trailer online soon afterwards.

Nerds around the world were also treated to a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Thursday, which was released (as planned) at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim.
