Washington man faces child porn, cyberstalking charges in Alaska

If convicted, the suspect faces a sentence of five to 20 years for the distribution of child pornography and up to five years on each count of cyberstalking.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A Washington man was indicted with cyberstalking victims and child pornography on Tuesday.

Kaden Ollila, 20, of Tacoma, was arrested on March 21 and made his initial court appearance in connection to the charges on March 22. A federal grand jury in Alaska returned an indictment against Ollila on Tuesday. 

According to court documents, Ollila allegedly distributed child pornography on Jan. 19. The 20-year-old is accused of using a social media platform on Jan. 24 and Jan. 25 to send messages to a victim "describing his desire to sexually assault her," according to court documents.

Two weeks later, the suspect allegedly used a different social media platform to send a victim an unsolicited sexual image of himself and unsolicited images that showed child sexual abuse.

Ollila was charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a child – distribution of child pornography and two counts of cyberstalking. If convicted, Ollila faces a sentence of five to 20 years for the distribution of child pornography and up to five years on each count of cyberstalking.
