Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call 911 or 1-800-222-TIPS.

TACOMA, Wash. — Four people were killed in a shooting in east Tacoma Thursday evening.

Two women and a man were shot and killed in the 4200 block of Everett Street, the Tacoma Police Department (TPD) said. Tacoma firefighters took another man with life-threatening injuries to a local hospital, where he later died.

The victims were identified Raymond Williams, 22, his girlfriend, Natasha Brincefield, 22, Maria Nunez, 42, and Emery Iese, 19. The manner of death is homicide.

South Sound 911 received reports of the shooting in the Salishan neighborhood of Tacoma around 4:24 p.m. Thursday. The shooting began in an alley west of Everett Ave and moved to the front yard of a residence, according to TPD.

A neighbor, Greg Riemersma, said he heard what sounded like fireworks going off in the area Thursday evening.

"My daughter's fiance ran in telling everybody to get down, and somebody's shooting across the street," said Riemersma. "So immediately, boom, we all hit down. This is one of the most horrible things that I've seen in a long time in this neighborhood."

The deaths mark 27 homicides in the city of Tacoma this year.

Police have not released any information on what led up to the shooting.

The TPD used a K9 to search for the shooting suspect Thursday but was unsuccessful. No suspect information has been released at this time.

The public was asked to avoid the area while police investigated Thursday night. Residents of the neighborhood were also asked to stay away if they are not already home.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call 911 or 1-800-222-TIPS.
