Inslee visits Snohomish County mass vaccination site

Gov. Jay Inslee toured the COVID-19 mass vaccination site in Arlington Tuesday morning.

Inslee spoke to the press and answered questions while visiting the vaccination site. You can watch Inslee speak in the KING 5 YouTube video below.

The governor also plans to visit Snohomish County PUD's MicroGrid Project on Tuesday.

30% of COVID 'breakthough' patients show no symptoms, CDC says

About 0.007% of Americans who have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19 have become infected with the disease afterward, the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday.

Dr. Rochelle Walensky said 84 million Americans have now been fully vaccinated. Of those, about 6,000 have become infected afterward -- what are known as breakthrough cases.

How to get a COVID-19 vaccine in Washington

Everyone in Washington state aged 16 and over is eligible for the vaccine.

Find a list of vaccine providers on the state's Vaccinate WA page and information on how to make an appointment.

Pfizer is the only vaccine approved for people 16 and 17 years old, and the state is working to update its Vaccine Locator with information about which vaccine is offered at each location.
