A large group of protesters marched to Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan's house on Sunday to carry on the message from the "Capitol Hill Organized Protest" zone, known as the "CHOP."
Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant joined protesters at the mayor's house.
A statement from Durkan's office said she supports the right to peacefully protest, but called Sawant's involvement a publicity stunt.
The Washington State Department of Health is putting a pause on counties moving to Phase 4 of reopening due to rising coronavirus cases across the state and increased concern about the virus' spread.
Eight counties were eligible to move from Phase 3 to Phase 4 before the pause.
Test pilots and crew members from the Federal Aviation Administration and Boeing are set to begin certification test flights for the 737 MAX as early as Monday, according to sources who spoke to Reuters and the Wall Street Journal.
Reuters reports the test flights will take place over the next three days.
The FAA must also approve new training programs and other safety measures on the 737 MAX before the fleet's worldwide grounding can be lifted.
One doctor warns against 'caution fatigue' now that the statewide mask mandate is in effect. He describes the fatigue as a point people reach when they don't care about coronavirus or think they won't be impacted at this stage.
The doctor said "caution fatigue" revolves around a feeling of people losing control, but reminds the public that it's important to still take precautions when it comes to COVID-19.
The Seattle Aquarium reopens today after being closed to the public for months to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The aquarium experience will be different for visitors. Guests will need to purchase tickets online for a specific day and entry time.
All visitors, staff, and volunteers will also be required to wear a face mask.
