Seattle home values up 85% since 2012, report finds

Single-family home prices in Seattle are up 12.7 percent from February 2017, according to the Case-Shiller home price index.

But that's not all. The Seattle Times reports that home values have increased 85 percent since bottoming out in 2012. The only cities with bigger gains are San Francisco and Las Vegas.

Seattle remains one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation. Redfin reports that 75 percent of America's hottest neighborhoods are in the Seattle area.
