Driver trapped in car for 12 hours after crash on Tiger Mountain

A man was trapped in his car for 12 hours after his vehicle hit the guardrail and rolled over on Highway 18 at Tiger Mountain early Saturday.

A passing bicyclist found the 73-year-old man early Saturday afternoon and called authorities.

Eastside Fire and Washington State Patrol crews responded. The man said he had hit a guardrail, then rolled his vehicle over into a creek, where he had been since 3 a.m.

The man was transported to Overlake Hospital for minor injuries.
