Making Easter candy 101 with Boehm's Candies

Boehm's Candies has been delighting children and adults alike with their confections since 1942.

When it comes to Easter, nobody does it better than Boehm’s Candies. The Easter bunny surely takes a detour to the quaint Issaquah store on his way through Western Washington to stock up chocolate eggs and bunnies.

Since 1942, they have been delighting children and adults alike with their confections, a rich tradition which continues today.

Bernard, the man behind the candy, took KING5 behind the curtain on a tour of his candy factory. You can tell it’s a family operation from the moment you walk in and are greeted by Bernard’s daughter, and his son works tirelessly over the peanut brittle (the best we’ve ever tasted).

In fact, every piece of chocolate is made by hand with care and quality the primary concern.

Bernard tells us his factory has made over 14,000 Easter items this year alone. He says it’s a love of producing quality chocolates for his community.

Boehm’s Candies is open every day and offers classes and tours by request. They are located at 255 NE Gilman Boulevard in Issaquah.
