A Seattle Police Department motorcycle officer was struck on southbound I-5 near NE 205th Street Thursday morning.
Trooper Rick Johnson with the Washington State Patrol says the officer involved in the crash is up and talking. The Seattle Police Department said the officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A portion of I-5 was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the crash, but the roadway is now open.
