Tracy Ann Lewis, 31, is missing from Ocean Shores, Washington

The search for a Utah woman missing from Ocean Shores has been suspended after evidence found in her car leads them to believe she left of her own accord.

Tracy Ann Lewis was on a road trip that started in Disneyland and wound through San Francisco and Portland.

Lewis was last known to be staying in Ocean Shores at the Morning Glory Motel, where her car and belongings were found. The woman's family has not heard from her since March 9.

Ocean Shores police said Thursday a note found in her car read "I know you'll want to, but please don't try to find me. –Goodnight." In a notebook, Lewis allegedly wrote about her intention to "leave" and find herself without anyone pulling her back. She wrote, "And this isn't goodbye forever. This is just goodbye for right now," police said.

Her family also told officers that she disappeared for two weeks in 2015, then returned home.

Police say Lewis is still listed in the National Crime Information Center computer system as a missing person, so her welfare can be checked. But police say her case is now inactive and her family has been notified and understand.
