Petosa Accordions finds a new home in Lynnwood

The Petosa family has been making and selling accordions in the Pacific Northwest for nearly a century.

After 96 years in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood, Petosa Accordions has a new home. The family-run business moved north to Lynnwood earlier this year.

While the new location offers more space, little else has changed. You can still find the hand-crafted accordions made famous by Carlo Petosa starting back in 1922. They offer everything from $3,000 beginner models to top-of-the-line squeezeboxes that will set you back $40,000.

And even if you're not in the market for an accordion, Petosa's is worth the trip. The store includes a museum displaying hundreds of instruments from around the world dating back to the early 1800s.
