University of Central Florida linebacker and NFL prospect Shaquem Griffin had himself one heck of an outing at this year’s NFL Scouting Combine.

Shaquem, the twin brother of Seattle Seahawks cornerback Shaquill Griffin, had originally been a combine snub before eventually receiving an invitation.

Despite his impressive performance last weekend, the Seahawks were the only team to officially interview the NFL hopeful, per a tweet from the Rich Eisen Show.

Griffin ran the fastest 40-yard dash of any linebacker this year, also tying his brother Shaquill’s time from last season: 4.38 seconds. He posted a speedy 4.58 seconds in his second attempt.

Even Seahawks’ coach Pete Carroll couldn’t help from expressing his excitement after watching Griffin sprint.

The 40-yard dash wasn’t Griffin’s only outstanding performance at the combine as he also hoisted a respectable 20 repetitions in the bench press, all with the use of a prosthetic hand.

Griffin was born with a rare condition called amniotic band syndrome, which prevented the fingers of his left hand from fully developing, leading to amputation at the age of four.

But the speedy linebacker isn’t going to let anything get in the way of his NFL future and his combine numbers prove it.
