A serious crash between a logging truck and five cars blocked SR 2 near Monroe for several hours on Monday.
Giant logs were scattered across the roadway, blocking all lanes between 88th Street and State Route 9. One person was airlifted to a hospital, according to Trooper Heather Axtman.
The roadway finally reopened just before 7 p.m.
