Jimmy Fallon had an eventful Saturday: He paraded through Harvard Square on a chariot, accepted a Harvard Lampoon award and checked into the hospital.

Fallon's rep Claire Mercuri confirms to USA TODAY that the comedian went to Massachusetts General Hospital to get quickly checked out after falling on glass. Fallon later returned to the celebration.

One fan on Instagram seemed to document the incident:

After the fall, he seemed OK

Fallon, who accepted the Harvard Lampoon Elmer Award for Excellence in Humor, was later seen in photos with a bandaged right hand.

But now he says on Instagram that the injury is "nothing a few band aids couldn't fix."

This fall comes after Fallon severely injured his left hand this summer.

Aside from the injury, the event seemed to go well, with Fallon parading through Harvard Square in a Roman chariot and festive headwear. The parade ended at the steps of Lampoon Castle, where Fallon was presented with an award and an 85-cent check.

Previous recipients of the honor include Jay Leno, John Cleese and Robin Williams.
